Starbucks Store Design

Our stores are at the heart of the Starbucks Experience. In Store Design, we co-build with our partners in other parts of the organization to create welcoming Third Places that support daily coffee rituals and connection, in ways that make people feel comfortable and cared for.

We practice ethical, modern design thinking that embraces both familiarity and intentional variety. Each store starts with a consistent path for customers and partners. Through the lens of our brand, our designs respond to the culture and activity of each neighborhood. Our global ecosystem of these stores delivers a larger experience that both provides consistency and invites discovery.

Starbucks DNA and values guide us as we look to tomorrow, evolving the Starbucks Experience for new and current customers alike. We are committed to sustainability, accessibility, inclusion, and using our scale for good.

We make the familiar - and the novel - feel special.

Lagul Sul

Brasilia, DF 71608-900 Brazil

This is the most prominent of five sites in the Brasilia airport. It sits directly above a second store (Duplex Terreo). The Duplex stores are located before check -in, very close to where the passengers would be dropped-off or would enter the airport after parking. Brasilia is a new market for Starbucks LATAM and we wanted this store along a group of airport stores, to have a strong brand presence while also feeling rooted in the local architecture and culture.

Spring &

72 Spring Street

New York, NY 10012

Our cafe on the corner of Spring & Crosby is one of the NYC originals, opening its doors in 1995 in the heart of SOHO.  Our main customers are the tourists that venture to the area for retail therapy, as well as, our local residents alike.  This iconic store has been the back drop of various film and television tapings over the years, with the most recent of ‘and just like that’.  Needless to say our regional team was excited for the opportunity to update this stores experience for both the partners and customers.
